Yurchenko
Women's Artisticadvanced
Named after Soviet gymnast Natalia Yurchenko, this family of vaults starts with a round-off onto the springboard, then a back handspring onto the vault table, before the gymnast pushes off into a somersault โ with or without twists โ to land. The Yurchenko entry is the most common vault style in modern women's gymnastics.
