Xcel Program
beginner
Also known as: Xcel
Xcel is a competitive program offered by USA Gymnastics as an alternative to the traditional Level system. It's organized into divisions (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Sapphire in some regions) rather than numbered levels, and gives gymnasts and coaches more flexibility in choosing skills. Xcel is popular for gymnasts who want a competitive outlet without the training hours the Level track typically demands.
