Walkover

Also known as: Front Walkover, Back Walkover

A walkover โ€” performed forward or backward โ€” is a slow, controlled skill in which the gymnast moves through a handstand position and arches into a bridge-like shape, landing one leg at a time rather than both together as in a handspring. Walkovers emphasize flexibility and control and are typically learned before their faster, more powerful handspring counterparts.
